Australian Lions Children Mobility Foundation Needs Your Help

Fellow Lions

It’s getting close to the end of our Lions Year and we have been asked to change the following children’s lives by supplying them with walkers:  It would be good to have no children in need of a walker for the start of the 2017-18 Lions year.  PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.

Isabella a nine year old girl from Turramurra who needs a Nimbo Walker at a cost of $1,015.00

Mark a two year old boy from South Hurstville who  needs a flyer 3 Posterior walker at a cost of $3245.00 GA4139

Hannah a seventeen year old girl from Penshurst who needs a crocodile walker with seat at a cost of $2040.50 GA4136

Cooper a three year old boy from Leichardt who needs a Rifton Pacer gait trainer at a cost of $4,005.00 GA4137

Angeline a 5 year old girl from Hillsdale who needs a Nimbo Posterior walker size2 at a cost of $770.00 GA4138

Dominic an 11 year old boy from Penshurst needs a Mustang Walker at a cost of $5,106 GA4143

George a one year old boy from Russell Lea who needs a Rifton Gait Trainer at a cost of $3555.00 GA4149

We are not just giving them something that lets them walk upright but it will enable them to play with other children, play sport, interact with other children and adults.  The fact that they will be able to stand upright will enable their organs to move to the right place in their body and grow properly.  Their bones and muscles will strengthen and respiratory systems strengthen and heal and their self confidence will develop .  We will give them their childhood.  Please help them to have a childhood by donating or committing to raise money to this worthy cause.

NOTE:  Walkers may be fully or partly funded before receiving your donation or the walker may be purchased by an outside organisiation and withdrawn from us by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance.  If this happens I will contact you and give you the choice of funding a walker for another child in need or withdrawing your donation.

If you wish to see a video on the ALCMF and what it can do for children you can find it by clicking the following link;

If you want to do fundraising I can provide brochures, a large poster, DVD of the video, laptop 15″ to show the DVD and am happy to attend the day and/or speak to your club at a meeting.

I have taken the liberty of attaching a brochure which provides you with further information on the walkers we provide and the children who get them

“May every child walk with pride”
