LIONS RAISE AWARENESS OF ‘DONATELIFE’ – EMU PLAINS LIONS CLUB

The Lions Club of Emu Plains are raising community awareness and understanding of organ and tissue donation to encourage registrations on the Australian Organ Donor Register during the week; 29 July – 5 August.

Today around 1,400 Australians and their families are desperately waiting for the call that a life-saving organ has become available.

Christine Timmins (Jack’s mum) did anything that a parent would do in seeking assistance for her son. A complex system had been introduced to Australia called the NDIS. For some the application and approval process is quite simple and for others, this is where the fight begins for a little boy to dream big.
