DG JENNIFER TOUZEL
Invites you to
The Great Ideas Forum
BANKSTOWN SPORTS CLUB , 8 Greenfield Parade, Bankstown
31st (Sat) AUGUST 2019
Session 1 9.00am – 12.30pm
Session 2 1.30pm – 4.30pm
Lions Clubs in the 201N5 District raise millions of dollars a year to assist those in the community who need it most.
We are faced with a dilemma; our ageing membership and our challenge in recruiting new members. If we do not begin to bring in new members now, projections are we will lose around 30% of our members in 5 years time.
This has a direct affect on those we help in the community. What would happen if this funding was to disappear?
What is required is a District wide strategy where we can all work to the same page as one .
- We must increase positive awareness to the public as a District
- We must have a recruitment strategy—where best to place new members?
- We must have a focus to increase our current rate of 1st year retentions
This forum will focus on the following:
- What District is doing to dramatically increase awareness of what Lions do
- How this will impact membership recruitment
- What is our membership recruitment plan? What are the options?
- Suggestions on how we can retain our new members
- What projects can we implement to attract and retain younger people
- How to improve the way we communicate

Hoping to see as many of our SACLC Lions at this end of year dinner as possible!
We ask for each person attending to bring a Kris Kringle to the value of up to $15.
This must be a unisex gift and will be given away on the night. You will also receive a gift in return as part of the Kris Kringle
